I started working in the wedding industry 10 years ago as a drummer in various wedding bands around Ireland. Whilst I still love getting behind the drum kit and performing at couples’ evening receptions, I know I miss out on so much more of the day. 

I have always admired the art of film, my dad is a huge movie buff and passed this love onto me. From a young age I loved making drumming videos and posting them on Youtube - (please don’t search for them). I used an old JVC Camcorder and editing them in a 100% legitimate and paid for copy of Sony Vegas. 7 years ago I purchased a camera, a few accessories and got to work filming promos for wedding bands, corporate videos and then 4 years ago saw me start my journey with wedding films.

What is Candela?

Candela is the unit of light of one candle. I like to think this mirrors the start of your marriage, when two souls are united together.

My wedding video style has three main elements … Personal, Cinematic and Casual. I love getting footage that no-one expects, picking up on all the little details that can sometimes be missed in the hustle and bustle of your wedding day. I tend to stay in the background capturing candid, loving and happy memories that you will love looking back on for years to come. 

I am available for the whole of Ireland and beyond, North, South, East, West, indoors and outdoors (I do love a good mountain). If you like the sound of this, then I’d love to hear from you.
